Self-care gone wrong

They say gardening is the slowest of all performing arts.... And yet to the people who love it.. it's the most rewarding.

Last year for my birthday I got myself a plant... Dumbcane(you see what I did there). Anyways , I got inspired by some instagram self care posts and named that plant after me(in my head of course) so that when I take care of that plant , my mind registers it as self care.

Long story short.

The plant died.I did try to resurrect it,but to no avail.

Only regret is that, I shouldn't have named it after me coz looking at that empty pot isn't the same anymore.

I live and my namesake is no more
